PHOTOGRAPHS FOR REGISTRATIONS

Every animal is Classified for a Type when it reaches 3yrs of age
, using photograph/s sent in with it's application (or 3yr adult registration).
Classification also takes into account the parents of an animal (when registered), with offspring expected to show similar characteristics to their parent/s.

Animals will be classified using photo/s submitted and allocated with a breed Type: ELF, PIXIE, MUNCHKIN or NUWBY. (see Breed types for more information).

Serious Breeders
wishing to record the EXACT type on animal registrations may request that the Registry, allocate animals that clearly do not conform to breed type characteristics, with "no type".
Please Contact the Registry for more details.

"No Type" animals (and animals that are typed, but do not conform to the characteristics of a breed) will be eligible for Lower Grade registration but will not be eligible for Grade A or Purebred in accordance with Grade System rules.

The photo must clearly show the animal meets the type characteristics for it to be allocated with one.
