AMGA Animals are NOT
eligible for AMGR Grading.
Parents of animals registered with the AMGA
(and not with AMGR) will NOT be accepted
with AMGR Grading issued by the AMGA. Records
show that AMGA animals are being measured
differently to that of the AMGR, the methods
of which have been proven to reduce the heights
of animals significantly.
Pedigree may be listed, but will NOT be considered
when Grading, unless the animals in the pedigree
are registered with the AMGR and measured
under AMGR Standards.
Misrepresentation
and Accuracy of Registration
(AMGA
certificates)
Applications to register AMGA animals with
the AMGR indicate that several AMGA Breeders
have changed the names of parent animals bred
and registered by other studs,
into their own stud names. This fraudulent
practice affects the accuracy of registration
and the correct recording of pedigree. The
AMGR will correct registered animal's names
when incorrect details are submitted and may,
if necessary, refuse to accept AMGA registrations
or pedigree listed on such from Studs in breach
of the Code of Ethics and Rules related to
fraudulent behaviour.

Registering Animals (with
AMGA certificates)
with the AMGR
Animals registered with the AMGA may be
eligible for registration with the AMGR,
however AMGR standards and rules will
apply.
We DO NOT recognise "AMGA Type
1" or "AMGA Type 2",
so your animals will not be listed as
such and they will be classified using
AMGR breed standards
and AMGR height
guidelines only.
*A signed AMGR registration
application form attached to a copy
of the existing registration certificate
must be submitted for the Registered Name
to be accepted.
*New photos must be attached.
*Correct fees must accompany application.
*Classification and Grade will be assessed
and adjusted in line with the AMGR height
and registration rules in place at the
time application is made.
*If the registering owner wishes to
have the animal's Grade considered,
- a copy of parent/s registration papers
(from other group) must be submitted,
- a Height Verification Application completed
by the AMGR Breeder applying to register
the animal must be completed for each
parent, with the AMGR Member listed as
measurer.
- The AMGR Member applying to register
will be responsible for submitting a 3yr
height verification for each parent (and/or
grandparent/s) concerned unless the animal/s
concerned are or become registered with
AMGR.

PLEASE NOTE: Animals NOT eligible
for Registration with the AMGR
(that
hold AMGA certificates)
Animals registered with the AMGA may
NOT be eligible for registration
with the AMGR if they DO NOT meet
AMGR Registration
Requirements.
* ANIMALS (under the age of
2yrs for females or 3yrs for males)
ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REGISTRATION
with the AMGR unless they have at
least one registered (or kid recorded)
MINIATURE (or miniature bred) parent.
- We are happy to take a copy of the
AMGA certificate, issued to young
AMGA animals that do not have a registered/recorded
parent and hold it on file until the
animal reaches it's "age of eligibility"
or until it has a parent registered,
that meets the AMGR registration requirements.
Once the animal reaches the AMGR "age
of eligibility";
* A CURRENT HEIGHT must be taken by
the owner / registering breeder,
* APPLICATIONS MUST HAVE A CLEAR,
CURRENT PHOTO submitted to
be considered. We will NOT scan the
photo off an AMGA certificate.
* and APPLICATION TO REGISTER must
be submitted on AMGR application form.
Please feel free to contact the office
for more information.

"Type 1" and "Type
2"
Our records show that AMGR Breeders
are successfully producing animals
using set Breed, Grade and Height
Standards with selective breeding
programs and well thought out breeding
plans. AMGR Breeders are asked to
continue to structure their breeding
programs on AMGR breed standards as
the AMGR will not adopt,
set or develop similar AMGA "Type
1" or "Type 2", or
permit Breeders to choose what rules
they want to follow, to "fit"
animals in when they do not meet the
group's set requirements.
The AMGR will NOT "dual"
register animals as "Type 1"
and "Type 2",
eg/ "Mini Stud Pinky":
Type 1 Minikin and Type 2 Pixie
and AMGA Grade C and
AMGR Grade B.
The Animal is one
Breed Type with one
Grading, with the AMGR.
