Service Certificates

Using Service Certificates

* When transferring a
pregnant female or one that has been running with a buck, a Service Certificate is to be completed by the buck owner. Visiting does should be given a completed Service Certificate on completion of the servicing agreement.

* If the Breeder is NOT the owner of a REGISTERED Australian Miniature Buck (sire of kids), Pedigree of the Registered Buck will not be listed on the Registration Certificate without a signed service certificate being attached to the registration application or where *DNA proof can be provided. This is in place to ensure that accurate records are kept in the Studbook and to prevent mistaken or false information being furnished to the Registry.

Buck Services

* If You Own The Buck,
For breeders using their own buck over their own does, no service certificates are required.

*
‘Buck At Stud’
Breeders offering Services to their Registered / Recorded Australian Miniature Buck, are required to provide a completed service certificate to the doe owner once the service contract has been completed.

* Sale Of Pregnant Doe
.
Breeders selling a doe that is pregnant to their Registered / Recorded Australian Miniature Buck, are required to provide a completed service certificate for the doe owner at the time of sale.
* Buck On Lease
The lessee of the buck is responsible for recording the bucks services whilst under lease to them.  For the period of the lease, the buck is treated in the same manner as if the buck is owned by them i.e. no service certificate/s required for any of their own does covered during the period the buck is leased to them however,
- If the lessee of the buck accepts outside does for service during this time, they will be required to complete a Service Certificate for those services, as above.
- If the lessee sells any does that are in kid to the leased buck, a Service Certificate must be supplied with the doe at the time of sale, as above.
- The lessee of the buck will need to complete a Lease Form and have it SIGNED BY THE OWNER OF THE BUCK (lessor) confirming the lease detail to the Registry. The Lease form should be sent to the AMGR prior to kids being born. Termination date of the lease must be given to the AMGR to ensure that registry records are kept accurate.
- The Lessee must complete a Buck Return every six months until the lease is terminated. The form is to be lodged with the AMGR office. All does serviced by the leased buck must be listed and a copy of this form will be available to the Owner of the buck upon request.

To Establish and Remove AMGR Breeding Restriction

A Breeding Restriction may be requested for a goat when the individual registration certificate is submitted, provided it is filed by the owner(s) of the animal. FORM

Each registration certificate for such goat shall carry notice of the restriction, and the restriction shall continue, regardless of any change of ownership, unless and until the owner(s) of the animal apply to AMGR for removal of the limitation.

No buck kids of a goat for which a Breeding Restriction has been established is eligible for registration OR only buck kids with a signed service certificate, indicating the animal is a buck kid received from the person who applied the restriction may be registered.

In order to remove the Breeding Restriction, the person who applied the Breeding Restriction will need to complete the Application to Revoke Breeding Restriction, and submit the form, along with a processing fee to the Central Office. After processing, a Full Registration certificate will be sent to the goat's owner.

It is the breeder's ethical duty to inform the buyer, prior to purchase, or to service, that the goat's registration papers will be or have been issued with a Breeding Restriction. Notification and details of Breeding Restriction will be listed for public access on this site.

Please Note:The Registry will not come between Buyer/Seller, Owner/Breeder in any disputes, however the Registry is not open to Owners/Breeders not accepting and following the Owners/Breeders Ethics.
AMGR will not become involved in disputes concerning "Full" or "Breeding Restriction" registration of a goat. The parties involved in the sale of the goat must resolve these disputes.

*DNA
Both parents and the offspring are tested to prove parentage. This procedure is done at the sole expense of the person applying to register the animal. A hair, buccal or blood sample is taken from each animal and sent to a lab for analysis
